AAA Logistics, a joint venture between the Vietnam Motor Industrial Corporation and AAA Insurance Joint Stock Company, early this month announced its plan to invest nearly VND 21 trillion in building 38 petrol and service stations along national highways throughout the country from now to 2015.

The company targets to build 11 stations o­n National Highways No 1, 6 and 8 from now to 2010.

Each station, covering 30 hectares, will have a petrol station, garage, auto showroom, warehouse, passenger and container services, shopping centre, entertainment area, hotel and restaurants, bars, health care facility, and heliport.

AAA Logistics has a chartered capital of VND 1.5 trillion of which the Vietnam General Auto Industry Company holds 51% and the AAA Insurance Corp, 39%. The remaining 10% is held by several other shareholders.
